This transitional villa is set above beautiful countryside with a spectacular view
of the Northern Wairoa river. Built in 1908 as a family home during
the gum digging and kauri logging days.
This home has been lived in ever since, and is now offering very
special country village accommodation to people looking for something unique,
with New Zealand colonial style.
High above farmland, the homestay offers a retreat from the
rush. There is a friendly cat and dog to welcome you.
Relax and enjoy a facial or massage, use the footspa, sleep under
goosedown/feather quilts and partake of fresh laid eggs for your
breakfast, with home-made marmalade and bread. Leave after a your
stay refreshed and ready to continue.

Take day trips to the Kai Iwi Lakes, Tane Mahuta (the huge Kauri
